Welcome to Naracoorte Primary School

Naracoorte Primary School aims to instil positive thinking about the society we live in and our future.

Through our core values of respect and responsibility, we create strong partnerships between students, staff and parents/caregivers where lifelong learning is valued.

Open communication is considered a high priority with parent/caregiver involvement strongly encouraged and appreciated.

Naracoorte Primary School is a Reception – Year 6 school with approximately 460 students. The town of Naracoorte is situated 330kms South of Adelaide, 100kms North of Mount Gambier, in the Upper South East of South Australia.

In our main building, you will find the school office, Student Support area, classrooms, a comprehensive Resource Centre and an Information Technology centre. Other classrooms, including our Science room and Performing Arts area, and 4 classroom STEM building are located behind the main building.

The school boasts a multipurpose hall which is used for sport, performance and assembly, as well as after school community activities like Callisthenics. Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) is also located on the school site.

Our grounds adjoin an expansive native bushland and the community swimming lake, and is a few minutes walk from the Naracoorte Swimming Lake, The Sheep’s Back Museum, Main Shopping Centre, Naracoorte High School and Sporting Complex (including basketball stadium, netball & tennis courts, soccer, football and hockey fields).
